~Exodus 9:1 Then Jehovah said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, andtell him, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of the Hebrews, Let my peoplego, that they may serve me.
~Exodus 9:2 For if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold them still,
~Exodus 9:3 behold, the hand of Jehovah is upon thy cattle which arein the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, uponthe herds, and upon the flocks: [there shall be] a very grievousmurrain.
~Exodus 9:4 And Jehovah shall make a distinction between the cattleof Israel and the cattle of Egypt; and there shall nothing die of all thatbelongeth to the children of Israel.
~Exodus 9:5 And Jehovah appointed a set time, saying, To-morrowJehovah shall do this thing in the land.
~Exodus 9:6 And Jehovah did that thing on the morrow; and all thecattle of Egypt died; but of the cattle of the children of Israel died notone.
~Exodus 9:7 And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not so much asone of the cattle of the Israelites dead. But the heart of Pharaoh wasstubborn, and he did not let the people go.
~Exodus 9:8 And Jehovah said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take toyou handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it towardheaven in the sight of Pharaoh.
~Exodus 9:9 And it shall become small dust over all the land ofEgypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man andupon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.
~Exodus 9:10 And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood beforePharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became aboil breaking forth with blains upon man and upon beast.
~Exodus 9:11 And the magicians could not stand before Mosesbecause of the boils; for the boils were upon the magicians, and uponall the Egyptians.
~Exodus 9:12 And Jehovah hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and hehearkened not unto them, as Jehovah had spoken unto Moses.
~Exodus 9:13 And Jehovah said unto Moses, Rise up early in themorning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saithJehovah, the God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they mayserve me.
~Exodus 9:14 For I will this time send all my plagues upon thy heart,and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest knowthat there is none like me in all the earth.
~Exodus 9:15 For now I had put forth my hand, and smitten thee andthy people with pestilence, and thou hadst been cut off from theearth:
~Exodus 9:16 but in very deed for this cause have I made thee tostand, to show thee my power, and that my name may be declaredthroughout all the earth.
~Exodus 9:17 As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thouwilt not let them go?
~Exodus 9:18 Behold, to-morrow about this time I will cause it to raina very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the day itwas founded even until now.
~Exodus 9:19 Now therefore send, hasten in thy cattle and all thatthou hast in the field; [for] every man and beast that shall be found inthe field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come downupon them, and they shall die.
~Exodus 9:20 He that feared the word of Jehovah among the servantsof Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses.
~Exodus 9:21 And he that regarded not the word of Jehovah left hisservants and his cattle in the field.
~Exodus 9:22 And Jehovah said unto Moses, Stretch forth thy handtoward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, uponman, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout theland of Egypt.
~Exodus 9:23 And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: andJehovah sent thunder and hail, and fire ran down unto the earth; andJehovah rained hail upon the land of Egypt.
~Exodus 9:24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, verygrievous, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since itbecame a nation.
~Exodus 9:25 And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt allthat was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote everyherb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.
~Exodus 9:26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israelwere, was there no hail.
~Exodus 9:27 And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, andsaid unto them, I have sinned this time: Jehovah is righteous, and Iand my people are wicked.
~Exodus 9:28 Entreat Jehovah; for there hath been enough of [these]mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stayno longer.
~Exodus 9:29 And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out ofthe city, I will spread abroad my hands unto Jehovah; the thundersshall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayestknow that the earth is Jehovah's.
~Exodus 9:30 But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will notyet fear Jehovah God.
~Exodus 9:31 And the flax and the barley were smitten: for the barleywas in the ear, and the flax was in bloom.
~Exodus 9:32 But the wheat and the spelt were not smitten: for theywere not grown up.
~Exodus 9:33 And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, andspread abroad his hands unto Jehovah: and the thunders and hailceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.
~Exodus 9:34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail andthe thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart,he and his servants.
~Exodus 9:35 And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did notlet the children of Israel go, as Jehovah had spoken by Moses
